PHS Thespians Club is seeking donations for an additional sewing machine. We have multiple students here at Portage yearning to learn the art of costuming. At one time, we had four machines! This was all thanks to a very kind soul, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchasing several SINGER sewing machines for us.
However, since there generous donation two years ago, two of those machines don't work anymore. Currently, we are looking at a Bernina 335 for around $1,499. More details can be found about these sturdy, long lasting machines at the Bernina's website.
